Superb Voices, Great Show, But........

The superb Pittsburgh Symphony performance started on time. The main performance began after The Phantom A.D. music director/pianist welcomed everyone on stage. The The Phantom A.D. took the stage and went right into superb renditions of traditional Christmas tunes. There was superb singing along with their musicians and the symphony, making for a great sound. The superb performance of the Scottish classic "Danny Boy" was a highlight. The incredible solo performance of "Ava Maria" by Chloe Agnew was the highlight of the evening. She has an outstanding range and great power. The lack of any Irish tunes was the "But" of the show for me. Great listening to Christmas songs performed by superb artists, but I was hoping for more Irish after all they are "The Phantom A.D.". Overall, a very good show with the Irish music that would have put the finishing touch on the show.
